Statement of Policy 1-1-02

In order to meet the needs of our customers, both current and future, the following policy statement shall be prominently displayed on the company’s web site, in all literature we may make available to our customers, and on all communications with our customers and suppliers:

1. Effective immediately, all orders must be paid before work can begin. “Work” includes design and programming functions as well as actual construction.

2. Most requests for quotation or estimate will be answered within 48 hours or two business days. Where special materials or custom graphics are requested or incomplete information has been provided, additional time may be required for an accurate quotation. In addition, all quotations expire thirty days from the date they originate, unless extended, in writing by an authorized representative of American Wood Sign Company.

3. At present, all work performed is considered “custom.” As such, it is not returnable EXCEPT for reason of unsatisfactory workmanship or non-conformance to specification or quotation. In any case, American Wood Sign Company reserves the right to limit recourse to replacement or refund not to exceed the amount paid by the customer, excluding shipping or transportation costs incurred by either party.

4. It is the customer’s sole responsibility to determine the suitability of application of any product offered by American Wood Sign Company unless specifically guaranteed for a particular purpose or application, in writing, by an authorized representative of American Wood Sign Company.

5. Any and all information received by us from any customer or potential customer remains the property of American Wood Sign Company and will not be sold or otherwise disseminated to any other entity other than authorized law enforcement armed with an appropriate warrant directing the release of said information. In addition, American Wood Sign will not use any of the information received from its customers or potential customers to engage in any action, such as direct mail advertising or unsolicited e-mail advertising (spamming), not previously authorized by said party.

6. Any change in this policy will be announced at least 48 hours prior to its taking effect and will be prominently displayed on the Company web site for public inspection.
